Die Otoplastik ist eine kurze operative Intervention mit beeindruckend guten unmittelbaren Ergebnissen. Sie kann in örtlicher Betäubung durchgeführt werden. Üblicherweise ist während dieses Verfahrens auch ein Anästhesist anwesend, der Neuroleptanalgetika verabreicht. Die Operation betrifft die verschiedenen Defekte der Ohrmuschel, die wir als Massenerscheinung kennen (abstehende Ohren). Lebensjahres durchgeführt werden, weil erst dann die Entwicklung des Ohrs als Organ endgültig abgeschlossen ist.

About Оtoplastik
Nützliche Informationen über die Otoplastik:
- Erster Verbandswechsel wird am vierten postoperativen Tag vorgenommen.
- Am vierten postoperativen Tag darf der Patien sich das Haar waschen.
- Antibiotische Cremes werden im Bereich der Operation hinter den Ohren aufgetragen.
- Es werden keine Fäden gezogen.
Die Otoplastik kann nach der Vollendung des 9. Lebensjahres durchgeführt werden, weil erst dann die Entwicklung des Ohres als Organ endgültig abgeschlossen ist.
Bei diesem Operationsverfahren bleiben die Patienten nicht in der Behandlungseinrichtung, sondern werden nach einer gewissen Zeit nach der Operation mit einem elastischen Verband um den Kopf entlassen. Sie werden mit Antibiotika behandelt und bekommen Schmerzmittel (Depon® /Wirkstoff: Paracetamol/, Lonarid® /Wirkstoff: Acetaminophen/, aber kein Aspirin) gegen die möglichen schwachen Schmerzen. Ein starker Schmerz wäre unbegründet und kann an einem zu straffen Verband liegen; in diesem Fall muss er gelockert werden. Vier Tage nach der Operation wird der erste Verbandswechsel vorgenommen und der Patient darf sich den Kopf waschen. Nach diesen vier Tagen sind keine Verbände mehr notwendig. Es wird aber empfohlen, dass der Patient beim Schlafen um den Kopf ein elastisches Band, das die Ohren abdeckt, während der nächsten zwei Wochen trägt. Für gewöhnlich gibt es keine Nähte und die Narbe, die entsteht, befindet sich hinter dem Ohr.
Das Wichtige ist aber, dass die Natürlichkeit aller Teile des Ohrläppchens und der Ohrmuschel (Helix, Anthelix, Ohrmuschel, Tragus, Antitragus) erhalten bleibt. Die Ohrmuschel und das Ohrläppchen dürfen nicht dicht am Skalp gedrückt sein, und die Anthelix darf nicht durch zufälliges operatives Umknicken des Knorpels verletzt werden.
