Información útil sobre la intervención de transplante de pelo

La técnica Choi FUG es relativamente sencilla. Consiste en la extracción de una franja elíptica de piel, que contiene cantidad suficiente de pelo, de una zona donante, normalmente de la parte trasera del cuero cabelludo.
Mediante un estereoscopio la franja se disecciona a folículos (1, 2 ó 3 folículos). Se hacen incisiones en la zona elegida y el médico transplanta los folículos que forman nuevas raíces del pelo. El resultado es un espesamiento y restauración del pelo.
El implante Choi permite que los injertos sean transplantados a muy poca distancia uno del otro, con el espesor necesario. Por esta razón, el resultado es muy natural ya en la primera visita en la clínica. Él depende, sin embargo, de la zona donante (elasticidad y espesor).
